Alex and I spent yesterday painting one of our bedrooms that has not been redecorated 

since we moved in.....way back in 2001.

This room is not really used and is on the small side however it has a nice big window, 

lots of natural light and potential. I hope it will be a new space for me to create in.

I am hoping to move my crafty space to this room in the future so I am giving it 

a little makeover and a trial run.

I will post some pictures soon :)

Two Birds, One Stone

I am leaving for Syracuse earily tomorrow morning SWEET!, so this weeks Mojo Monday card and Inspiration Colour Challenge are in the same card this week.
If you can believe it I actually had to go out and buy 5 sheets of cardstock to match my colour challenge.



I think its because I chose some girly colours this time around.

I really like this weeks Mojo Monday design, but I found my colour choices this time were hard for me to work with.
That is a good thing really, I think we all stick with colours we like and from time to time challenge yourself to get out of your box and use something different.

It's PINK! Man that was hard for me, dusty roses, 3 different shades to choose from.
I got 2 shades of it on there.

I stamped the background pink with stamps from Stampendous, the sentiment is also from the same set.

I really love the creative process and how a layout evolves as you are making it. My starting point was my photo and the Viewer Discretion Advised image I created in PSE. I am really loving blues and reds right now and how they help communicate a slightly "punk" feeling in this layout.


This is a favorite colour combo of mine, I have been using it a ton over the past few weeks. I'm feelin' the winter blahs and this combination is so Summer. I can't wait for the warmer weather.
