For many years I have read books, articles and blog entries written by Stacy Julian and this project is something she encourages all scrapbookers to do. I believe she has been writing about this type of album since her first book Simple Scrapbooks. (before the magazine started)
This is a project that I have wanted to do for a long time, just never really got around to starting.
Today I started and this is the album cover, I chose an American Craft 8x8 d-ring album the kind that has a plain chipboard cover and added this simple digital page I made in PSE.
Now the idea is that I will keep the pages very simple, photo on the left page and journaling on the right page explaining why I love that photo so much. The objective is to get a little deeper than the obvious information that is shown in the photo. If I don't want to write any journaling then that is OK. Now on to the photo selection, because this is an ongoing album I don't have to have everything ready now which is quite nice since I find the process of editing and printing photos a bit of a chore.

what a great idea. I could get into a project like this. Are you going to do it digitally?
I dont think I will go totally digital, it worked out for the cover really well.
