It is amazing to me that a piece of our bodies can be replaced. Metal, plastic and screws will allow her to walk a little easier, although this is just the first knee, hopefully less pain on a day to day basis after she has recovered and completed her physio. I am off to visit mom again this evening, I think she might be up on her feet by then, for short periods of time.
DEER!!!This morning before Dad left we had a great treat outside in the backyard. Well is was probably more of a treat for me and more of a regular occurrence for my Dad.
My parents live on unfenced land, animals roam where they want, this also includes local dogs, bunnies, and other woodland creatures. These two were in the backyard about 20 feet from the house. Unfortunately I was only able to get a few shots of these Deer before a dog came along and chased them off.
Beautiful.
I think the dogs are finally relaxed with each other (for now)...Pud is by my feet and Jack is behind my chair. I can't walk anywhere without 2 furry shadows close behind. I love dogs!

thats amazing to see nature in all its glory, just in your backyard. away from the concrete jungle.i wonder what jack would have done with the deer.
