Great Day!

Today was exactly as the title says, a great day!
I had a few friends over to enjoy
some creative time. There was suppose to be 4 of us but Suzanne
was out in the cold searching for a lost dogie named Gracie. Gracie has been missing for over 10 days now, she has been sited many times in the downtown area of Brampton.
Alex and I tried searching last night for a few hours with no luck, it's hard to find a black dog in the dark! We are hoping Gracie is safe and will be found soon. :)

Janet, Theresa (affectionately referred to as Sweet) and I had a great time making cards today.
The morning hours passed quickly, chatting mostly, we had a few new catalogs/magazines to look through before we could get down to the serious business of card making. Just before lunch, we popped out to Michael's to try and find some items that Janet brought with her.

2 cards from an older Basic Grey baby themed card kit, we found at M's today for only$7.97.
Alex (the hubby) was home today also, he was kind enough to BBQ lunch for us AND make a lasagna, from scratch for dinner. Talk about AWESOME! The food was excellent. Thank you Alex. A girl could get used to that very easily.
I wanted to post another card I made today, but it's on special assignment.
A birthday detail. I hope to make another one for my card stash, which I will post after said birthday.
I am off to Merrickville tomorrow or Monday, Mom goes in for her knee surgery Tuesday and I am helping Dad with Pud (their dog) while they are in Ottawa at the hospital.
